Job Description
- As a Data Engineer, your main responsibility is to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant regulations. You will be designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines for ETL processes using cloud services like AWS, focusing on data security and access controls. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, and business units, will be essential to understand data requirements and drive decisions effectively.
It is crucial to stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices, documenting data engineering processes and standards. Developing deep expertise in cloud platforms and technologies, assisting with life cycle management, and ensuring coding standards are followed by External Service Providers are key aspects of the position. You will also help establish a DevOps culture to improve the quality, security, and stability of cloud solutions, identifying synergies for efficiency and cost savings.

The ideal candidate should possess the ability to use analytics to drive meaningful insights and have strong experience with Agile Development, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub, and Automation platforms. Technical experience must include SQL, Python/PySpark, and AWS Data Services such as Glue, Athena, and Data Engineering. Experience with Power BI/Tableau, PL/SQL, Agile is considered a plus.
