Job Description
- As a Node.js Developer at Wits Innovation Lab in Vikhroli, Mumbai, you will be an integral part of our fast-paced tech team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain efficient server-side logic using Node.js. You will work on building secure and scalable RESTful APIs and collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features. Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance will also be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience with Node.js. A strong understanding of backend architecture and microservices is essential. You should also have practical experience with TypeScript for building scalable and type-safe Node.js applications. Proficiency in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL), REST APIs, version control (Git), and deployment pipelines is required. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must for this position.
