Junior Accountant

Focus: Finance Operations | Bookkeeping | Compliance | Data Accuracy

As a Junior Accountant, you will support the finance team in maintaining accurate books, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring smooth financial workflows. Youll handle entries, reconciliations, and documentation with precision while learning to interpret numbers that shape business decisions. Financial Operations

• Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure all entries are properly categorized.
• Support in managing accounts payable and receivable cycles.

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform monthly bank, vendor, and client reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing MIS reports, expense summaries, and financial statements.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies with the senior finance team.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure timely submission of GST, TDS, and statutory filings.
• Maintain documentation and audit-ready financial records.
• Support coordination with external auditors or consultants when required.

Process Support

• Assist in payroll processing and expense reimbursements.
• Work closely with operations and HR for budget alignment and vendor payments.
• Contribute to improving finance processes and internal controls.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and double-entry systems.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books, Tally, or QuickBooks).
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance workflows.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and reporting.
