Position Overview:We are currently seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our vibrant team. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about web development and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The incumbent will work closely with D2C team to support the design, development, and maintenance of brands D2C website, contributing to the enhancement of our online commerce and customer experience.
Technical Skills:

• Experience with Shopify Plus platform, Liquid templating language, and Shopify APIs· Experience with e-commerce website development, including payment gateway integrations and third-party app integrations· Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MYSQL, PHP, and jQuery· Experience with responsive design, web accessibility, and website optimization· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  

Role and Responsibility at Wonderchef:

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify websites, themes, and custom applications.
  
• Implement custom features and functionalities using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrate third-party apps and services with Shopify platform to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Develop and maintain Shopify apps using Shopify API and App SDKs.
• Optimize Shopify sites for performance, SEO, and security.
  

Experience:

• 2+ Years of Shopify and Shopify Plus development experience.
• General web development experience will be added plus
  

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
