About the Team

Workdays enterprise applications are positively disrupting the market and transforming how businesses operate and make decisions in todays ever-changing global market. This role is a key member of our India Leadership Team and plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and team success.

About the Role

This is a senior sales leadership role focused on recruiting, leading, coaching, and developing a team ofAccount Executivesfocused on driving net new deals across India. This team will be expected to drive demand generation activities along with owning and forecasting net new deals.
We are looking for a leader experienced in building and leading successful teams. Leading from the front, this is a highly visible leadership position where you will:
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to drive account development, pipeline generation, and manageequitable territory distribution models.
  • Develop and manageexecutive relationshipsby conducting business-driven discussions.
  • Lead negotiation, planning, strategy, and execution.
  • Build aGo-To-Market Strategyfor this line of business.
  • Actively coach, support, and lead the sales organization around account coverage, territory management, demand generation, and opportunity execution.
  • Articulate Workdays impact on business value toC-Level executivesand build relationships that drive deals to a successful conclusion.
  • Orchestrate deal activity in partnership with both Net New and Customer Base leadership across the region.
  • Drive Workday Culture and cross-group collaboration as a member of the regional leadership team.

About You

You are a self-starter with a stellar sales and leadership track record forSaaS/Cloud transformation solutionsselling to C-suite decision makers.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years experienceas a sales leader successfully selling solutions at the C-Level.
  • Proven experiencein developing through to execution of ago-to-market strategy.
  • Experience inleading a teamthat sells net-new solutions into enterprise-sized organizations.
  • Demonstrable results in leading teams within complex,team-based sales environments.
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Must live by a set of values that align with Workdays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within theERP and / or Business Applicationsmarketplace.
  • Experience in managing a geographically distributed team of highly skilled Account Executives.
  • Prior experience in building out Account Executive territory management ,Target Account plans & enterprise sales methodology

    Experience leading a team of sales specialists who collaborate with field Account Executives (leading through influence).
Other Key Attributes:
  • Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills
  • Savvy in identifying customer problems and proposing comprehensive solutions.
  • Strong use of insights and data to drive decision making in the sales process.
  • Proficiency across a variety of selling methodologies, with an existing track record of coaching or teaching these skills.
  • True passion for delivering results through others.
  • Expertise in consultative selling complex business applications to large companies
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region
