Job Description
- As an experienced professional in supply chain management, your role will involve overseeing procurement activities and import operations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and packaging items from domestic and international suppliers
- Managing end-to-end import operations, including vendor negotiations, documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination
- Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with production and stores to avoid stockouts or overstocking
- Evaluating vendor performance and conducting periodic audits
- Supporting export operations when required, including documentation and coordination with freight forwarders
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
- Minimum 8-15 years of experience in purchase and import operations
- Strong understanding of import documentation, customs procedures, and logistics
- Familiarity with export documentation and international trade practices (preferred)

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
The job is Full-time and Permanent, located in Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra. You must have at least 3 years of experience in import work, 1 year in export work, and 3 years in procurement.
Additionally, the company offers Provident Fund as a benefit.
