What youll own as Software Engineer Principal
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Data Architect Specialist to join our Data Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering robust, scalable, and modern data applications. You will ensure adherence to best practices in data architecture, leverage the latest cloud technologies, and provide technical leadership to our data teams in India.

• Architect and Deliver Data Solutions:
  

Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end data applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

• Modern Data Architecture:
  

Develop and maintain data architectures that align with industry best practices and modern technologies (data lakes, data warehouses, streaming, etc.).

• Cloud Expertise:
  

Lead the adoption and optimization of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, FiveTran).

• Leadership & Mentorship:
  

Mentor, guide, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers and architects in India.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  

Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Governance & Compliance:
  

Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards across all data initiatives.

• Innovation & Best Practices:
  

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

• Documentation & Communication:
  

Create comprehensive documentation for data models, architecture decisions, and technical standards. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You Bring

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related technical roles.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering large-scale data applications.
• Deep expertise in cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns (data lakehouse, microservices, event-driven, etc.).
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL, data integration, and data governance.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Kafka, Hadoop, etc.).
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams in India.
