Woxsen University seeks a visionary and academically distinguished leader to serve as Dean of the School of Technology. The Dean will provide strategic, academic, operational, and research leadership to position the School among the top technology institutions globally.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic and research background, proven institutional leadership experience, deep industry engagement, and the ability to foster innovation-driven education aligned with global technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

• Provide strategic direction for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and executive education programs.
• Lead curriculum innovation aligned with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Ensure academic quality, accreditation readiness, and outcome-based education standards.
• Promote interdisciplinary and experiential learning methodologies.

Research & Innovation

• Build a high-impact research ecosystem in AI, Data Science, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, IoT, and allied domains.
• Encourage funded research projects, patents, publications, and innovation labs.
• Establish research collaborations with international universities and industry partners.
• Drive incubation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture within the School.

Faculty Leadership

• Recruit, mentor, and retain high-quality faculty and researchers.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Support faculty development through research grants, conferences, and global engagements.

Industry & Global Partnerships

• Strengthen corporate collaborations for internships, live projects, placements, and sponsored research.
• Develop strategic partnerships with global universities and technology organizations.
• Represent the School at academic, industry, and international forums.

Student Success & Engagement

• Enhance student learning outcomes, employability, innovation capability, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Support holistic student development through mentoring, research opportunities, and industry exposure.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, ethics, and sustainability initiatives.

Operational & Administrative Leadership

• Manage academic planning, budgeting, compliance, and governance functions.
• Lead accreditation and ranking initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related discipline from a reputed institution.
• Minimum 15–20 years of academic/research experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Strong publication record in reputed journals/conferences.
• Experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
• Proven track record of research funding, institutional building, and industry collaboration.

Preferred

• International academic or research exposure.
• Experience with global accreditation frameworks.
• Strong network within academia, industry, and innovation ecosystems.
• Exposure to emerging technology domains and digital transformation initiatives.
