Job Description
The role prioritizes world-class research and pedagogical mastery as the foundation for institutional leadership. As a Professor of Management, the incumbent will drive the schools intellectual capital; as Associate Dean – Academic Excellence, they will translate that excellence into strategic quality frameworks, global accreditations, and curriculum innovation.
I. The Professor Mandate: Scholarly & Pedagogical Impact
- High-Octane Research: Maintain a prolific publication record in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals (ABDC A/A*, Scopus Q1, or ABS 4). Focus on interdisciplinary research that bridges management theory with technological and societal shifts.
- Doctoral Leadership: Serve as the mentor-in-chief for Ph.D. and DBA candidates, guiding them through rigorous methodological frameworks and high-impact publication strategies.
- Mastery in the Classroom: Deliver elite modules for Executive MBA and Doctoral programs, setting the institutional benchmark for instructional quality, immersive simulations, and case-study methods.
- Intellectual Advocacy: Represent the institution as a thought leader at premier global forums (e.g., Web Summit, World Summit AI) and engage with international industry bodies to align research with corporate needs.
- Grant & Patent Leadership: Lead large-scale research projects, securing external funding and fostering a culture of innovation that leads to intellectual property and patents.
II. The Associate Dean Mandate: Strategic Academic Leadership
- Curriculum Future-Proofing: Spearhead the integration of Frontier Sciences into the business curricula, ensuring courses reflect advancements in AI, Cognitive Technology, and Predictive Modeling.
- Faculty Governance: Cultivate a high-performance Teacher-Scholar culture through peer-review systems, faculty development workshops, and strategic workload management.
- Institutional Integrity: Act as the final arbiter for academic standards, ensuring the school exceeds national regulatory requirements and maintains a premier global brand identity.

Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Academic Eminence: A Ph.D. in Management or a related behavioral/cognitive field from a premier global institution.
- Scholarly Impact: An established reputation reflected by a significant H-index and a consistent record of high-quality citations in top-tier journals.
- Administrative Pedigree: At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Department, Director, or Associate Dean) with a focus on academic quality or institutional effectiveness.
- Accreditation Expertise: Proven success in leading business schools through international accreditation cycles.
- Technological Fluency: A deep understanding of how AI and machine learning are fundamentally reshaping management education and corporate strategy.
