Blockchain Engineer, R3 Corda

Responsibilities:

• Work on full-stack engineering solutions that integrate with or are built on top of blockchains.
• Develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts.
• Write clean maintainable code that is in accordance with Xalts development guidelines.
• Translate functional product requirements to a system design that incorporates blockchain and traditional software infrastructure.
• Stay at the forefront of the latest developments in blockchain (R3 Corda) and traditional software technology and propose improvements in architecture to ensure our products stay future-proof.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E) or Bachelors degree in Technology (B.Tech) or related Integrated STEM program (from tier-1 engineering institutes).
• 2+ years of smart contract development including production deployments of original, non-trivial protocols and related security audits.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin programming language for Corda application and traditional software development.
• Good understanding of the fundamentals and architecture of R3 Corda.
• Experience designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining smart contracts.
• Ability to balance shipping quickly with building stable infrastructure.
• Familiar with CorDapp Standard Development Environment (CSDE) for application development.
• Passion for blockchain technologies.
  

Nice to have:

• Experience working on asset tokenization projects built on R3 Corda.
• Prior work experience in the R3 team or experience working on R3 projects in banks will be a big plus.
• Experience with SQL (ex. Postgres) or NoSQL (ex. MongoDB) databases.
