Xiaomi - Assistant Manager - Sales Planning & Analysis

About the role:
SP&A works closely with category and sales team to enable demand & budget planning. The team is looking for a resource who can work closely with the category, sales, finance, SCM teams to drive monthly planning. The candidate is additionally required to monitor KPIs responsible for driving growth of the category. Since this is a highly cross-functional role, the candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in monthly demand and budget planning to drive category sales

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions to optimize business processes
3. Assist in the development of business cases, strategic plans, and other key business documents
4. Define and track KPIs responsible for category growth and drive operational efficiency
5. Build relationships with key stakeholders and assist in solutioning for key problems
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, or any quantitative field
2. 4+ years of experience in an analytical role in tech, consulting, or related industry
3. Proficient in using SQL, Python/PySpark, Power BI, Excel and/or other analytical tools
4. Ability to interlink different data sources and conduct analysis on business performance to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
5. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other analytical tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
6. Experience or knowledge of fundamental data science frameworks in supervised and unsupervised learning such as regression, clustering etc.
