Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Perform surgical procedures on patients to treat injuries, diseases, and deformities
  • Evaluate patients' medical histories and plan the best surgical approaches
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative consultations, providing patients and their families with information regarding procedures and recovery
  • Monitor patients' conditions during and after surgery, making adjustments as necessary for their health and safety

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in surgical techniques and technologies
  • Participate in the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all medical and ethical guidelines, regulations, and standardsRequired Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Completion of a General Surgery residency program
  • Board certification in General Surgery
  • Valid medical license to practice as a surgeon
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure
