Job Title: Reporting & Insights Specialist (Contract Role with Ministry of Economy & Planning, Saudi Arabia)

About the Opportunity:

We are hiring on behalf of our esteemed client Ministry of Economy & Planning (MEP), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a high-impact role within their Inflation & Supply-Demand Monitoring Unit. MEP is looking to onboard a professional with a background in economic or policy reporting, research communication, or BI analytics.

This is a contractual position for 1 year, with the potential for extension based on performance. This role offers exceptional visibility, contributing directly to high-priority national initiatives under Vision 2030, while collaborating with multiple government entities including MoCI, ZATCA, Customs, sector regulators, and senior government executives.

Location: Hybrid Requires 50% travel to Riyadh

Compensation: Best-in-class; commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare structured quarterly reports on inflation, supply-demand trends, and intervention results.

- Produce ad hoc deep-dive reports on price shocks, shortages, or notable market fluctuations.

- Maintain consistent and transparent reporting methodologies, including assumptions and confidence levels.

- Support dashboard development to provide real-time access to economic indicators and alerts for decision-makers.

- Ensure credibility and usability of outputs for high-level policy audiences.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 3-8 years in economic or policy reporting, research communication, or BI analytics

- Excellent skills in writing, visualization, and data storytelling

- Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel-based dashboards

Preferred Backgrounds: Consulting (Big 4), rating agencies (e.g., CRISIL), or economic think tanks/research institutions

Education: Bachelors or Masters in Economics, Policy, or Data Visualization, or any relevant field.
