About the Role
As Manager Business Development India - Transport Reagents, you will play a key role in accelerating Yaras AdBlue / Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) business in one of the worlds most important and fast-growing mobility markets. You will shape market development, identify? growth opportunities, and strengthen Yaras position across the value chain - from direct fleet owners to distributors and retail partners.
This role combinesstrategic business development with hands-on? market execution. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to expand market reach, develop commercial solutions, and support the transition towards cleaner transport under Indias BS?VI emission framework.

Transport emissions are one of the biggest environmental challenges facing India today. In this role, you will:
- Enable cleaner mobility by expanding access to high-quality? AdBlue / DEF solutions.
- Support compliance with BS?VI emission norms and improve air quality.
- Help fleets and customers reduce NOx emissions at scale.
- Contribute directly to Yaras global sustainability and decarbonization ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives to grow Yaras AdBlue / DEF business in India.
- Identify new market opportunities across fleets, distributors, and retail channels.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with unit and regional priorities.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, OEM-linked partners, and distributors.
- Support development of new business models, delivery formats, and go-to-?market concepts.
- Monitor regulatory, market, and competitive developments in the Indian DEF market.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across sales units, supply chain, and marketing.
- Ensure compliance with Yaras HESQ standards, Ethics & Compliance policies, and Code of Conduct.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: University degree (Bachelor or higher) in Business, Engineering, Chemical or related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in business development, commercial, or sales roles in industrial, chemical, energy, or automotive-related? sectors.
- Experience with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), fuels, lubricants, chemicals, or go-to-maket ? models is an advantage.
- Strong commercial mindset with analytical and problem-solving? skills.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Fluency in English local language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
