Role Description

The Senior Data Scientist/Post-Doc (Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Computational Biology) will devise and execute data-driven solutions for cutting-edge research projects in bioinformatics. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing complex biological datasets, developing algorithms, building data analytics pipelines, and creating data visualizations. The role also involves collaborative work with interdisciplinary teams to provide insights and innovative approaches to bioinformatics challenges. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mangaluru.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Masters Degree with good practical experience or Authored an article) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology or related field is greatly preferred
• Expertise in bioinformatics tools and techniques is a plus
• Proficient programming skills in R, Python, or similar languages
• Proficiency in Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Data Analysis
• Strong foundation in Data Science, Ai, ML and biotatistics
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex biological datasets
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Have Github Profile with the project codes uploaded
