The Role:

Are you a product alchemist who can turn ideas into gold Do you have a sixth sense for the next big thing in wellness As the Senior Product Innovation Manager, you will be the driving force behind our product innovation, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch. Youll work closely with our team of experts to develop cutting-edge supplements and explore opportunities in the skincare market.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product innovation strategy
• Lead the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch
• Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify new product opportunities
• Manage and prioritize the product development pipeline

Formulation and Technical Expertise:

• Lead the formulation of new supplement products, working closely with our in house food scientist and nutritionist
• Oversee product stability studies and shelf-life testing
• Stay updated on advancements in nutritional science and potential skincare innovations
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements

Manufacturing and Supply Chain:

• Manage relationships with manufacturers, ensuring product quality and timely production
• Coordinate with suppliers for ingredients and raw materials
• Optimize production processes and costs
• Troubleshoot any issues in the manufacturing process

Packaging and Design:

• Work with design team for packaging, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and cost
• Ensure packaging aligns with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the marketing team on product presentation and claims
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches
• Collaborate with the Digital Growth & Analytics team to incorporate data-driven insights into product development
• Present new product concepts and development progress to senior leadership

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Drive innovation in product formulations, delivery systems, and packaging
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing products

• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the health, wellness, and skincare industries

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field; Masters degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in product development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in the health supplements or nutraceutical industry
• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching innovative nutraceutical products
• Strong understanding of nutritional science, supplement regulations, and current market trends
• Hands-on experience in supplement formulation and product development
• Knowledge of supplement manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
• Understanding of packaging design principles and production processes
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) business model
• Familiarity with skincare product development and formulation
• Experience with product development software and project management tools
• Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce dynamics in relation to product development
