Role Overview:
As the AVP - Capability Development, you will be at the forefront of shaping our organization's talent landscape, driving strategic initiatives that enhance employee skills and performance. Your day-to-day will involve designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive capability development programs aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR business partners, and various functional teams to identify skill gaps, develop targeted learning solutions, and measure the impact of development initiatives. This role directly contributes to improved employee engagement, enhanced organizational agility, and ultimately, the achievement of key business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive capability development programs, focusing on areas such as digital transformation, data analytics, and Agentic AI, to ensure employees possess the skills needed to drive business growth.
- Partner with business leaders and HR to conduct thorough needs assessments, identifying skill gaps and development opportunities across the organization, to inform the creation of targeted learning solutions.
- Develop and implement robust evaluation metrics to measure the impact of capability development initiatives on employee performance and business outcomes, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting employee engagement and ownership of their professional growth, to foster a high-performance environment.
- Oversee the budget and resources allocated to capability development programs, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of funds to maximize ROI.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of programs.
- Drive talent transformation initiatives by designing and implementing programs that support career progression and leadership development, to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships, including senior leadership, HR business partners, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and collaboration in the delivery of capability development programs.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends and insights related to employee skills and performance, informing the development of targeted interventions and personalized learning experiences.
Required Skillset:

- Proven expertise in program management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of learning initiatives.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, data analytics, and Agentic AI concepts and their application in capability development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform the development of targeted learning solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive results.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively to maximize ROI on learning investments.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
