Who are we looking for?
As the Finance Leader, you will own financial planning, forecasting, cash-flow analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge (including book-closing & tax), sharp FP&A skills, and the ability to act as a finance business partner to internal stakeholders, including external partners like banks or NBFCs.
What does the role demand?
Book Closing & Financial Finalization:
- Take ownership of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform account reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate financial finalization.
- Work closely with accounting and controllership teams to validate ledgers and balance sheet item Tax Compliance & Provisioning: - Maintain and apply your knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and TDS.
- Handle tax provision calculations, assist in tax filings/correspondence, and coordinate with tax advisors or external auditors.
FP&A & Financial Planning:

- Build, maintain, and update financial models (revenue, expenses, cash flow, balance sheet).
- Drive the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Conduct variance analysis: compare actuals to forecast/budget, identify key drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform scenario analysis or "what-if" planning to support strategic decision-making.
Cash Flow & Liquidity Management:
- Perform day-to-day cash flow analysis based on sales, receivables, payables, and other operating metrics.
- Prepare short-term and long-term liquidity forecasts.
- Identify cash flow risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Finance Business Partnering:
- Serve as a finance partner to business teams (sales, operations, etc.) to interpret financial data and guide decisions.
- Engage with external financial institutions (banks / NBFCs), support financing initiatives, and assist in modelling debt / funding scenarios.
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual management reporting packs (P&L, cash flow, KPI dashboards).
- Create clear commentary for senior leadership on financial performance, key risks, and opportunities.
- Present analysis to business heads and drive actionable insights.

Get Hired

- Identify process inefficiencies in reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Drive automation through Excel, BI tools, or FP&A planning tools to streamline workflows and improve data integrity.
Risk Analysis:
- Conduct sensitivity analysis, stress testing, and scenario planning to assess financial risks.
- Recommend mitigation strategies and monitor risk indicators.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Chartered Accountant or an ACCA Affiliate by Qualification.
- 7+ years (or relevant experience) in finance / accounting / FP&A roles.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (AP, AR, general ledger, book closing).
- Proven experience in tax handling: Income Tax, GST, TDS.
- Excellent financial modeling and forecasting skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with FP&A / BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, able to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Business partnering experience, ideally with exposure to banks or NBFCs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
