Job Description

As an Architect-Kernel & Driver-Linux at Sasken Technologies Limited, you will be responsible for owning the architecture and design of a sub-system, which includes a set of modules or a product. Your role involves formulating new solutions and ideas, as well as producing new and original work. You will demonstrate the ability to justify decisions with a strong technical knowledge base and represent the organization externally in detailed technical discussions with customers. Your expertise will be crucial in leading projects of significant organizational profile, where you will make trade-off decisions to deliver solutions that meet customer's technical requirements and timelines. Additionally, you will analyze and interpret complex problems and enhance existing methods to solve them effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Own the architecture and design of a sub-system, generating new solutions and original work.
- Justify decisions with solid technical knowledge.
- Represent the organization in technical discussions with customers.
- Lead projects of high organizational visibility, making trade-off decisions for timely solutions.
- Analyze and interpret complex problems, adapting methods to solve them.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Engineering graduate, MCA, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience
Competencies:
As a Kernel and Drivers-Linux Engineer, you should have experience in Embedded Linux, including design, development/customization, and bug fixing/sustenance. Familiarity with Linux Kernel configuration, board bring-up, device tree, and porting/adapting device drivers is essential. For Android specialization, knowledge of Android patches/configuration and architecture is a plus.

- Proficiency in C
