Job Description
- The senior engineer in App Framework & Middleware for Android at Sasken Technologies Limited is expected to have significant work experience enabling them to effectively apply their knowledge and deliver results. This individual should possess the ability to analyze and interpret complex problems, adapting existing methods to solve issues. Regular interaction with interfacing groups and customers to clarify technical issues and provide resolutions is essential. Additionally, active participation in important project activities to identify key issues and risks is required. Seeking guidance and advice to ensure high-quality deliverables is encouraged.
Working under limited supervision from the Team Lead or Project Manager, responsibilities of this role include design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation, and technical support within the assigned area. On-time delivery while upholding quality and productivity goals is paramount. Adherence to guidelines, checklists for deliverable reviews, sending status reports to the team lead, and following organizational processes are crucial. Collaborating with customers, providing support for their queries, and enhancing technical capabilities through training, self-study, and assessments are expected. Participation in technical initiatives related to projects and the organization, as well as delivering training as per plan and quality, is also required.
The ideal candidate should be an engineering graduate or hold an MCA degree with 2-5 years of experience. Competencies in Application Protocols & Engines for Android are essential, including design, development/customization, and bug fixing/sustenance within the Android application framework. Experience in domains such as Multimedia, Telephony, Connectivity, Sensor, and Security is beneficial. Proficiency in platforms like Android is mandatory, along with the use of tools such as Android Studio, Eclipse, Git, Gerrit, adb, Android Emulator, DDMS, Bugzilla, among others. Knowledge of languages like Java and Java Native Interface is required. Specializations in Telephony, Multimedia, Connectivity, and Generic Framework are highly desirable.,
