Senior Sales Engineer (AI & Cx Pre-Sales)

In this role, you will support our India Enterprise, Commercial, or Mid-market sales teams, acting as the primary pre-sales architect to bridge the gap between business objectives and our platforms technical capabilities. This is not a traditional, scripted pre-sales execution role; you will own the technical sales cycle, drive proactive customer happiness, and spearhead real proving via hands-on pilots and custom integrations for our most strategic regional prospects. You will be at the absolute forefront of customer service innovation, directly demonstrating how advanced LLMs, ChatGPT workflows, and automated bots transform business operations.

You do not need to follow a traditional enterprise career pre-sales path; we value raw energy, startup agility, and deep technical curiosity over historical playbooks. You are a natural problem solver who can step into an ambiguous discovery call with Enterprise, Commercial, or Mid-market executives and instantly articulate technical merit. You thrive on creating elegant workarounds with original code and possess the interpersonal presentation skills to command a room of C-level and director-level executives.

What youll be doing

• Technical Sales Lifecycle Ownership: Act as the technical bridge between our cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Managers) and prospective buyers.
• Hands-On Validation: Take ownership of the prime technical relationship with prospects to drive customer happiness via deep discovery, solution scoping, and custom demonstrations.
• Pilot & PoC Management: Scope, manage, and independently execute customer pilots and custom Proof of Concepts (PoC) to solve complex business constraints.
• AI Evangelism: Navigate the shifting customer service business by actively showing customers how to deploy AI technologies, machine learning, LLMs, and ChatGPT-driven logic.
• RFI/RFP Strategy: Map technical, functional, and competitive customer requirements directly into robust software solutions.
• Product Influence: Use field insights and solution-scoping realities to influence new product development and advocate for regional customer needs.
  

What you bring to the role

• Technical Versatility: Deep curiosity for web and scripting technologies, with the confidence to utilize JavaScript and JSON to build elegant solution workarounds.
• Consultative Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, communication, persuasion, writing, and presentation skills.
• Situational Agility: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, including a track record of meeting complex business demands with simple technical workflows.
• Project Independence: Strong organizational capabilities to work independently on multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of Pre-sales, Solutions Consulting, or highly technical client-facing engineering experience (AI startup or non-traditional software backgrounds welcomed).
• Hands-on knowledge of web/scripting technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and SaaS architectures.
• Proven experience scoping, managing, and executing technical customer pilots or Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
• Demonstrated experience mapping complex RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain expertise or awareness in one or more adjacent technology areas: Customer Service Software, ITSM, CCaaS, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Workforce Management, or Integration/Middleware.
• Practical experience building, configuring, or demoing AI technologies, automated bots, LLMs, or conversational interfaces.
• Experience moderating Design-Based Thinking sessions to drive alignment with enterprise clients.
• Previous consulting experience implementing enterprise-class software solutions.
• Graduate degree in a relevant technical or business field.
