Job Description
- You are a GIS Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience based in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining geospatial software applications that support large-scale mapping, analysis, and visualization projects. Your mandatory experience includes expertise in PostGIS, Python, JavaScript, Geospatial Data Analysis, Google Maps, Google Earth Engine, and Geospatial technology.
Your responsibilities as a GIS Developer will involve working with and managing large spatial datasets in a cloud environment. You will be required to develop geospatial software applications that integrate with Google Maps, Google Earth Engine, and Google Place ID framework. Additionally, you will design and develop user interfaces, databases, and tools for GIS applications. Developing algorithms and data structures to process large-scale geospatial data will also be part of your role.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing geoprocessing tools that integrate with existing geospatial software suites. Your tasks will include creating web-based GIS applications and services. It is essential for you to have experience in Python as it is a mandatory requirement for this position.
