About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Leader for Business Intelligence & Data Analytics to build and scale our enterprise reporting and insights function for our Enterprise Data Warehouse. This leader will oversee a team of data analysts and work cross-functionally to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making across the company. As the owner of our enterprise data warehouse, you will be instrumental in integrating data from a variety of internal SaaS tools and operational systems-including HR software, applicant tracking systems, and task management platforms-and surfacing this information through best-in-class dashboards and reporting frameworks.
This is a high-impact role for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving complex data problems, and is motivated by the opportunity to build a foundational analytics platform from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the BI & Analytics function, managing and mentoring a team of data analysts.
  • Own the architecture, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our enterprise data warehouse in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Ingest, normalize, and maintain data pipelines from internal SaaS platforms such as HRIS, ATS, task/project management tools, and others.
  • Define data models, metrics, and reporting standards that are scalable and aligned with business goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Apache Superset, Metabase, and Tableau.
  • Partner with business stakeholders (e.g., HR, Recruiting, Operations) to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation best practices across all reporting platforms.
  • Develop and evangelize self-service analytics capabilities for business teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new BI tools and technologies to improve performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Monitor analytics infrastructure health, resolve data-related issues, and continuously optimize for reliability and performance.

    Skills

  • Deep expertise in business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data warehouse architectures.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset, and Metabase.
  • Strong command of SQL, data transformation tools, and ETL best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing analytics teams.
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a builder mindset-able to define and drive structure in a greenfield environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data issues. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
  • Proven experience in project management and delivery of data analytics projects

    • Experience and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in BI and Analytics
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing a team of analysts or data professionals.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
