Supplier Quality Manager

Within our unit we develop, validate and service gear units used in wind turbines producing sustainable energy and we have been doing this for more than 40 years! Today we build new drivetrain solutions to meet the requirements of the future. As wind turbines continue to grow, we are continuously pushed outside of our engineering boundaries, which makes it a challenging engineering environment to work in.

What you can look forward to as Supplier Quality Manager:

• Conduct supplier assessment and process audits in accordance with ZF guidelines for Iron Castings suppliers in India.
• Support supplier management activities by ensuring fulfilment of all ZF specified deliverables related to product quality in both preventive and reactive phases, with end to end accountability.
• Ensure supplier compliance with ZF specifications and standards by effectively applying APQP and PPAP methodologies in new and competitive sourcing projects.
• Lead and support cross functional coordination between Indian suppliers and internal teams ZF plants across global locations.
• Take responsibility for the Supplier selection, technical feasibility and development of Iron Casting parts through systematic project management to meet quality and project milestones.
• Support the establishment of a reliable and efficient supply chain for both in development and serial production.
  

Your Profile as Supplier Quality Manager:

• Strong knowledge of key quality standards: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 Process Audits.
• Good understanding of AIAG/VDA APQP, PPAP, and project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with AIAG/VDA FMEA, failure simulation, and problem solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, etc.
• Proficiency in Power BI and project management tools.
• Fluency in English.
• High willingness to travel.
