To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred) along with over 15 years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, or procurement. As a visionary and strategic leader, you should have a future-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, adept at anticipating market trends, and influencing high-level decision-making. Clear communication, people-centric engagement, intercultural collaboration, and resilient leadership are essential skills for this role. Additionally, a strong understanding of commodity markets relevant to India and experience in a multinational or matrixed organization would be advantageous.
