Senior Engineer - Procurement

What you can look forward to as Senior Engineer Procurement (m/f/d):

• Lead import material planning, scheduling, and ensure timely Purchase Order (PO) schedules for streamlined supply chain operations and effective lead time management.
• Implement real-time monitoring of on-hand stock, compile critical material lists, and maintain inventory levels for cost reduction and minimized stock holdings.
• Collaborate with customs authorities and financial institutions to manage LC documents, duty payments, and shipping documentation, ensuring adherence to duty savings schemes.
  
• Vigilantly track supplier dispatches and shipments to proactively prevent line shortages, maintain strict inventory control, and guarantee on-time deliveries to various organizational departments.
• Foster collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, overseeing material-related processes and contributing to quality enhancement efforts. Additionally, research and identify new material sources as required.

Your profile as Senior Engineer Procurement (m/f/d):

• Hold a bachelors degree in engineering (BE) with 6 to 13 years of professional experience.
• Preference for candidates with a background in the automotive sector, demonstrating an understanding of its unique dynamics.
• Mandatory experience in import purchase procedures, reflecting comprehensive knowledge of international procurement practices.
• Willingness to work from the Mahindra World City location, exhibiting dedication to the company's operational requirements.
• Possess strong communication abilities, ensuring clear and efficient interaction within and outside the organization.
