Senior React Engineer (JavaScript And CSS)

This is a remote position.

• Own the implementation of critical new features in our React web application.
  
• Establish and enforce consistent coding patterns and best practices.
  
• Develop scalable, extensible front-end systems that will support our growth as a product and team.
  
• Work closely with product and design to translate requirements into thoughtful technical solutions.
  
• Build and optimize integrations with our AI backend using the Vercel AI SDK.
  
• Contribute to architectural decisions within our monorepo (Turbo) environment.
  
• Mentor other engineers as we grow the team.
  
• Help maintain a high bar for code quality through thoughtful code reviews.
  

• Identify and address technical debt to ensure long-term scalability.
  
• Stay current with React ecosystem developments and evaluate new tools and approaches.
  

• An experienced engineer with 6+ years of software development experience, including significant experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  
• Someone who has built and shipped production web applications that demonstrate technical excellence.
  
• Deeply familiar with React patterns, state management approaches, and performance optimization techniques.
  
• Proficient with modern front-end technologies (TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, Next.js, etc.).
  
• Comfortable working in a monorepo environment with modern JavaScript tooling.
  
• Experience with responsive design and creating accessible web applications.
  
• Experience with AI-powered applications and prompt engineering is a plus.
