About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Protocol Engineer to join our team in developing secure, scalable cross-chain infrastructure and protocol-level implementations. In this role, you will focus on designing, building, and optimizing blockchain protocols with an emphasis on cross-chain interoperability and advanced cryptographic techniques. What Youll Do

• Design and Implement Blockchain Protocols: Architect cross-chain protocols and bridges, creating secure and efficient pathways for cross-chain communication.
• Develop Smart Contracts: Write and maintain smart contracts in Rust and Solidity, ensuring reliability and security.
• Cross-Chain Infrastructure: Implement and optimise relay mechanisms, bridges, and communication layers for cross-chain transactions.
• Security & Cryptography: Integrate cryptographic principles into protocol designs and ensure the highest security standards.
• Distributed Systems Engineering: Leverage knowledge of distributed systems to optimise protocol design and ensure scalability.
• Protocol Documentation & Collaboration: Contribute to technical specifications and documentation, collaborating closely with the team on protocol upgrades.
• 
  Optimization for Gas Efficiency: Develop protocols to improve transaction speed and reduce gas consumption, enhancing efficiency across blockchain networks.
• Testing and Validation: Implement rigorous test suites to ensure protocol stability and security.
  

Mandatory Skills

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Rust and Solidity for smart contract development.
• Cross-Chain Protocols: Experience with cross-chain protocols and bridge mechanisms.
• Smart Contract Development: Advanced skills in writing and deploying smart contracts.
• Distributed Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and
• consensus mechanisms.
• Cryptographic Principles: Proficiency in cryptographic techniques and principles for securing blockchain
• protocols.
• Protocol Engineering: Deep experience in protocol design, implementation, and optimization.
