Summary:

The Quality Head will lead Zyods end-to-end Quality Assurance and Compliance function across all product categories and supplier networks. This role is responsible for setting quality benchmarks, building robust systems, leading audits, and ensuring buyer satisfaction through superior product standards. The person will drive a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and zero-defect delivery across internal and external manufacturing partners. Key

Responsibilities:

Strategic & Leadership

Define and implement Zyods quality vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals. Build and lead a team of QA Managers, Auditors, and Compliance Officers across geographies. Establish and maintain standardized QA frameworks, SOPs, and audit protocols across product categories.

Partner with Founders, Operations, and Demand teams to drive continuous quality improvements.

Operational Excellence

Oversee product risk assessments, PP meetings, inline, and final inspections to ensure compliance with buyer specifications.

Lead vendor quality performance reviews and improvement plans through data-driven analysis. Implement best-in-class AQL standards and ensure all production meets or exceeds buyer quality parameters.

Introduce automated quality tracking and digital reporting systems for transparency and real-time monitoring.

Review critical styles and ensure zero shipment rejections or returns due to quality issues.

Compliance & Sustainability

Ensure all vendors comply with international standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO).

Drive ethical sourcing, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives within the supplier network

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Serve as a key liaison with buyers QA teams and internal merchandising, design, and sourcing functions.

Guide suppliers on technical construction, finishing, and packaging improvements.

Work closely with the Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of quality-approved shipments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 1520 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in Buying House, Export House, or Large-Scale Apparel Manufacturing setups.

Education: Degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or Quality Management.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, AQL standards, and international quality norms.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead large QA teams and manage multiple factory clusters.

Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of global compliance standards and audit procedures.

Analytical Ability: Proficient in data-driven quality analysis, CAPA management, and process improvement. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing multi-category products (apparel, accessories)

. Exposure to digital QA tracking tools and quality automation platforms.

Strong communication and negotiation skills for buyer/vendor interactions.

Track record of driving measurable improvements in product quality and process efficiency.
