Head - Procurement & Contracts Services - EPC

15 to 20 years of experience of managing large projects in Construction / Operation / Maintenance in Manufacturing sites

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a master's degree in Management of Business Administration (MBA) /Certification by Procurement Professional bodies(preferred)
• Engineering in Category-specific discipline for a Category role

Job Responsibility:

• To drive overall resource sourcing strategy for the assigned unit / project with the objective of supporting operations , effective management of procurement process, meeting organizational objectives , mitigating risk resulting in improved efficiency & transparent and compliant functional output
• Provide inputs in creating P&C Service's business strategy & create a roadmap to ensure adherence to overall objectives and goals
• Oversee end to end execution / implementation of business plans and tracking achievement to functional targets/goals as per Annual Operating Plan
• Collaborate with Internal customers, Construction Managers, Project Managers, and other cross functional teams to define scope of work & overall resource sourcing strategy for the assigned Site/ Unit/ Project.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify new initiatives/ projects and set operational plans that meet these future demands
• Participate in budgeting cycle & process and provide inputs on budget allocation for own sub-function/ team
• Oversee deployment of own budget and ensure efficient utilization and minimum variance in target v/s actual
• Stay abreast of the developments including political, economic, logistical, and security risks that may impact contracting activities
• Drive new technological / automation advancements in work execution techniques
