Aasvaa Innovation Labs is a deeptech startup building Manthaan Indias Sovereign AI Operating System, powering domain-specific AI applications in law, governance, BFSI, and enterprise sectors. Our flagship product, GoJuris (Legal AI workspace), is already tested with 300+ lawyers and deployed in government pilots. With Annant (enterprise copilot) and future verticals, Aasvaa aims to establish Indias AI infrastructure for global impact.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Co-Founder & CTO who will lead the technology vision, architecture, and execution of Manthaan and its vertical applications. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building sovereign AI systems, scaling products from MVP to enterprise deployments, and shaping one of Indias most ambitious deeptech companies.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the technical roadmap for Manthaan and vertical products (GoJuris, Anaant).

Lead R&D in GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), multimodal AI, and OS architecture.

Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized systems, including GPU-optimized deployments.

Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team (AI/ML, full stack, DevOps).

Ensure compliance, explainability, and performance of deployed models in real-world scenarios.

Collaborate with the CEO on product-market fit, partnerships, and fundraising.

Represent Aasvaa in technical discussions with investors, customers, and ecosystem partners.

File patents and build defensible IP for Manthaan and its applications.

Requirements

Strong background in AI/ML, distributed systems, or operating systems architecture.

510+ years of experience in deeptech/AI product development (startup or enterprise).

Hands-on expertise in LLMs, RAG, MLOps, cloud-native systems, and GPUs.

Prior leadership experience in scaling tech teams and taking products from MVP ? deployment.

Entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to take risks, and passion for building sovereign AI.

Preferably IIT/NIT/IIIT/Global University background (not mandatory if proven experience).
