Optical Sales Executive

Purpose of the Job

To assist customers in selecting optical products, achieve sales targets, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales
• Welcome customers and assist them in choosing frames, lenses, and accessories.
• Recommend products based on customer needs, lifestyle, and budget.
• Explain lens options, product features, and ongoing offers.
• Ensure a pleasant and professional shopping experience.
• Sales & Business Growth
• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Promote additional products through upselling and cross-selling.
• Stay updated on new products and promotions.
• Store Operations
• Prepare job cards, billing, and sales orders accurately.
• Maintain product displays and store cleanliness.
• Assist with stock checking and report shortages or damages.
• Process customer payments correctly.
• Customer Follow-up
• Follow up on order deliveries, repairs, and pending purchases.
• Handle customer enquiries, warranty claims, and after-sales service.
• Maintain customer records for future follow-up and promotions.
• Optical Dispensing
• Verify prescriptions before processing orders.
• Ensure accurate spectacle fitting and final quality checks.
• Educate customers on the proper use and care of eyewear.
• Administrative Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate sales and customer records.
• Update customer information in CRM software.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager or HR.
