General Manager - Demand Planning - SCM & Operations

Role Overview:

As the General Manager of Demand Planning, you will serve as the strategic architect of our supply chain ecosystem, bridging the gap between market volatility and operational execution. You will lead the end-to-end demand planning function, orchestrating complex S&OP cycles while collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing leadership to ensure organizational alignment. By leveraging advanced analytics and robust forecasting models, you will drive inventory optimization and production efficiency, directly impacting the company's bottom line and service levels. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integrated Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to harmonize demand signals with supply capacity, ensuring optimal resource allocation across the business.
• Design and implement sophisticated forecasting methodologies that improve accuracy and reduce variance, thereby minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory costs.
• Oversee the end-to-end inventory management strategy, balancing working capital requirements with customer service level targets to maximize operational profitability.
• Spearhead the digital transformation of planning workflows within the SAP environment, driving process automation and data integrity to enhance decision-making speed.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of planners and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate market trends and business intelligence into robust production plans that support long-term growth objectives.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex supply chain networks, with a proven track record of optimizing demand planning processes for large-scale operations.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and analytical tools, with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, strategic narratives for executive leadership.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities, characterized by the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus in high-pressure environments.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on financial outcomes, specifically regarding inventory valuation, cost-to-serve, and margin protection.
