Member Engagement Manager

We're currently looking for a Member Engagement Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Relationships team, based in our Dubai office.

The job

Reporting to the Head of ACCA Middle East on a day to day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

• The Member Engagement Manager is accountable for developing and implementing plans designed to enhance member value and strengthen member engagement and advocacy within a market




• The role has a growing focus on enhancing member value through partnerships and on creating and nurturing communities in line with ACCA's strategic ambition




• Works with relevant internal stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes, key performance indicators and targets




• 
  Drives member engagement via social media channels and managing face to face and digital events on current accounting topics




• Works on initiatives such as developing the ACCA Women In Finance agenda across the region.

The person

We're looking for someone who:

• Educated at least to degree level or equivalent




• Demonstrable experience of building and sustaining effective relationships and communities




• Demonstrable experience of managing senior stakeholder relationships




• Understanding of the accounting and finance sector and economic trends

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence people at all levels. Confident and clear oral communication skills




• Experience of working with and managing volunteers Experience of working with committees/ panels may be required




• Knowledge of MS Teams and social media platforms




• Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Able to plan, manage and work on own initiative to deliver results within strict deadlines and agreed budgets.
