Life Insurance Claims Investigator

What role you will play in team: You will be a vital member of our claims team, ensuring fair and accurate processing of life insurance claims while maintaining the integrity of our company’s financial operations.

What you will do: You’ll investigate claims to verify information, ensure the validity of claims and identify any potential fraudulent activity. You will work closely with policyholders, beneficiaries and other departments.

Key responsibility:

• Thoroughly investigate life insurance claims to determine validity and coverage.
• Review claim documentation, including applications, medical records, and death certificates.
• Conduct interviews with policyholders, beneficiaries, and other relevant parties.
• Gather and analyze evidence to support claim decisions.
• Identify and report any potential fraudulent activities.
• 
  Prepare detailed reports summarizing investigation findings and recommendations.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all investigation activities.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., law, criminal justice) is preferred.
• Experience in claims investigation or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations preferred.
