Zonal Visual Merchandiser, VH

Job Purpose
To be responsible for VM Designing and planning of all the upcoming stores for the brand effectively implementing the window and merchandize display at the stores. Be responsible for renovation and refurbishment of existing stores.
Job Context & Major Challenges
The VM industry is still in a developing phase in India, with the advent of International players and with awareness of International VM standards, there is stiff competition to lure the consumers providing them superior shopping experience through innovative and attractive displays. Hence developing established vendors who can supply mannequins and other props of international quality is a challenge. Also creating an environment and mindset of effective visual merchandising in the stores is a challenge.

• Implementation and execution of the idea, not only training associates in the stores but to create an eye for VM at the store level is critical for effective visual merchandising
• Buy in for new initiatives from the senior management and then realizing the idea at the store level.
• Vendor management in terms of timely and quality delivery, developing new vendors

KRA1 VM Creative processes for Brand

• New retail identity roll out/ Facelift / Project take-off roll out.
• Designing its elevations and store display spaces and Façade.
• Adaptations of windows and creatives across the region stores
• Effective and impactful trade window/offer rollout smoothly as per calendar; within budgets
  

KRA2 Implementation of Visual displays

• Responsible for supervision of window display implementation in all stores across the region in coordination with the vendors.
• Sharing post execution pics within 3 days.
• Ensure the window displays are in alignment with concept/framework.
• Forecast handover to Operations post implementation of visual display of new stores in order to reduce new store opening cost.
  

KRA3 Vendor management

• Acquire and compare quotations from vendors to ensure procurement of quality products at the least possible price.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure execution of window/Promo within specified schedule.
• Ensure payment to the respective vendors and follow up on billing processes weekly.
  

KRA4 Budget management

• Monitor the budget for Visual Merchandising and highlight any deviations Weekly.
• To operate & achieve the vm spent as per budgets
• Submission of bills on time.
• Sharing Weekly Billing Tracker to HO team
  

KRA5 Feedback

• Provide regular and constructive feedback to AVMs and Stores on their displays weekly to ensure they are in line with concept.
• Store Visits – Share store visit plan
• In station stores needs to be visited daily and outstation once within 60 days
  

KRA6 VM Team Development

• Implement VM training modules at various levels - store VM champs, CC, SM and constantly create a culture of VM training
