Lead - Product Team

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy & Vision

- Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy aligned with business goals

- Translate business requirements and customer needs into clear product initiatives

- Own and prioritize the product backlog based on value, impact, and feasibility

- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Product Managers / Associate Product Managers

- Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the product team

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability

Execution & Delivery:

- Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and data teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery

- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives

- Ensure product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined

- Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across multiple product initiatives

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary product point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

- Communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership

- Align sales, marketing, and customer success teams on product features and launches

Data-Driven Decision Making:

- Define and track product metrics, OKRs, and KPIs

- Analyze product performance, user behavior, and feedback to drive continuous improvement

- Use insights and data to validate hypotheses and guide prioritization

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

- Deep understanding of product management frameworks and best practices

- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Technical & Functional Skills:

- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Productboard, Aha, etc.)

- Ability to work closely with engineering teams on technical trade-offs
