Lead - Product Team

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy aligned with business goals

• Translate business requirements and customer needs into clear product initiatives

• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on value, impact, and feasibility

- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Product Managers / Associate Product Managers

• Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the product team

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability

- Support hiring, onboarding, and professional development of product team members

Execution & Delivery:

• Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and data teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery

• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives

• Ensure product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined

- Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across multiple product initiatives

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary product point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

• Communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership

- Align sales, marketing, and customer success teams on product features and launches

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Define and track product metrics, OKRs, and KPIs

• Analyze product performance, user behavior, and feedback to drive continuous improvement

- Use insights and data to validate hypotheses and guide prioritization

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

• Deep understanding of product management frameworks and best practices

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Productboard, Aha, etc.)

- Ability to work closely with engineering teams on technical trade-offs
