Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bank Audit role based in Surat. The position involves conducting bank branch audits, including verification of financial records, loan documentation, and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, assessing risk areas, and preparing clear, well-structured audit working papers and reports. The role requires coordination with bank staff, collection and analysis of relevant data, and timely escalation of key findings to senior team members. The team member is expected to adhere to firm methodologies, maintain high ethical standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with bank personnel, documenting findings, and presenting conclusions.
• Knowledge of finance and banking operations, including lending, deposits, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements in the context of audit objectives.
• Auditing skills, including planning, execution, sampling, and report writing for bank audits.
• Relevant academic background in Commerce, Accounting, Finance,
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and audit tools; familiarity with core banking systems is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team at on-site client locations in Surat.
