Finance/Audit Executive ( Surat Based Only)

Role Description The Finance/Audit Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. This role involves supporting statutory, internal, and concurrent audits, including reviewing financial records, preparing working papers, and assisting in the drafting of audit reports. The Finance/Audit Executive will help analyze financial statements, verify compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and assist with GST-related reviews and reconciliations. Responsibilities include performing data analysis, identifying variances or control gaps, coordinating with client teams for information, and maintaining organized documentation for all assignments. The role also requires collaboration with senior professionals to implement audit plans, support risk assessments, and contribute to process improvements for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Audit Reports and Financial Statements, with the ability to review, interpret, and prepare supporting documentation.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including data analysis, variance identification, and problem-solving in financial and audit contexts.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Finance, including basic understanding of tax laws, compliance requirements, and financial principles.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; pursuing or holding CA/CS/CMA qualifications is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work responsibly in a team and interact professionally with clients.
• Prior experience or internships in audit, taxation, or financial analysis, especially in a CA firm or professional services environment, will be beneficial.
