Role: DTC Channel Lead - Retail

At DTC, we manage vast network of 1500+ retail stores with 20k+ sales agents in our fleet. Every month, Airtel's DTC team engages ~2 million walk-in customers through our stores and services ~1.2 million online lead requests via various types of walk-out fleet. We touch base with ~50 Mn high value homes in 1200+ towns via our large network. DTC team embody this spirit through a "Serve to Sell" mindset. Every day, they welcome Airtel customers, solve their problems, and, in doing so, rebuild trust in Airtel. What's inspiring is how this trust naturally leads to customers choosing more of our services. Seeing this play out every day reaffirms the power of service-driven sales.
This specific role has to drive business growth for High Value Airtel Services by leading below progarms:
1. Design Go-to-Market strategy for various kind of DTC walk-in and walk-out fleet
2. Design and implement incentive and gamification programs for DTC fleets to ensure maximum productivity, lower acquisition cost and higher engagement


3. Identify best practices across nation and scale-up effective GTM frameworks to all markets
4. Lead customer & data led insighting tracks for DTC fleet to de-average geography and agent level performances to pivot growth strategy tracks in right direction
5. Drive engagement programs for DTC fleet for encouraging serve to sell rituals and culture across fleets
6. Drive digital tracks to provide right tooling enablements to DTC fleet that leads to step jump in efficiency

What will this role require?
- Ownership mindset Any airtel problem is your problem without having direct control on the actions. Still, you got to solve it by taking full charge. What you get in return is the huge scale impact
- Collaborative approach & influencing stakeholders Every project involves working with multiple teams and driving large CFT towards the common goal. This needs an efficient team player
- Inherent drive and open-mind to understand customers and fleet agents (Humans)
- Ability to connect the dots and derive hypothesis for problem solving
- Design thinking ability for building efficient GTM plan, product journeys and processes
- Ability to articulate problems and bringing structure to the complexity
- Hunger to go deeper into the system, processes and people - just to understand the problem statement
- Patience and persistence to drive large projects that creates impact in long term
