Accounts Executive

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant with at least 2 - 3 years of UAE experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing the books of multiple business verticals within a group company structure. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, compliance with local regulations, and the ability to produce accurate financial reports. The candidate must also be capable of evaluating operational efficiency, identifying financial risks, and recommending improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction verification.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain data for the vendors, customers in the accounting system, timely comply all banking compliances/regulations and coordinate closely with other departments and group entities.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for bank, vendor, and inter-company accounts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, including VAT registration and filing.
• Maintain and set up chart of accounts for various group entities.
• Accurately post sales, purchase, expense, admin expense, and petty cash transactions in accounting software such as Zoho Books and Odoo.
• Generate financial statements including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for the group companies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insight.
