Project & Construction Manager

• Project Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive project execution plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, risk management, and procurement strategies.
• Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the entire project team (including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants). Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, and authorities. Manage expectations, report on progress, and resolve high-level issues.
• Budget & Cost Control: Oversee the project budget in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor. Approve major expenditures and variations. Ensure financial objectives are met.
• Schedule Management: Monitor and control the master construction schedule. Identify and mitigate delays. Ensure timely delivery of all project phases.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and enforce QA/QC plans to ensure all work complies with specifications, drawings, and regulatory standards.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Champion a culture of zero harm. Ensure full compliance with all HSE legislation and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Contract Administration: Administer the main contract and subcontracts. Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed monthly project reports to senior management and clients, covering progress, cost, risk, safety, and forecasts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCM, Chartered Engineer status) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction, with at least 5-7 years in a senior project management role.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, contracts, law, and building codes.
