NETWORK & LINKS: INTERNAL & EXTERNAL
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
To maintain the vehicles to standards of Quality, Cost and Delivery that meets the Customer expectations as a minimum.
To carry out such maintenance work on a shift basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preventive & Corrective maintenance of locomotives.
- Maintenance of underframe equipment.
- Maintenance of Air supply unit.
- Maintenance of brake equipment.
- Maintenance of HVAC unit.
- Maintenance of Roof equipment.
- Maintenance &Troubleshooting of Pneumatic Brake system.
- Maintenance of traction motor assembly.
- Replacement of Traction motor, Transformer & other major equipment.
- To report accidents/incidents.
- To adhere to Company procedures especially in relation to Quality and Health & Safety.
- UNDERSTANDING WORK INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO ACTIVITY.
- Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work independently.
- Inspect, maintain and repair as needed all facilities as assigned.
EDUCATION
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical from recognized University.(Regular Course)
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
- Be capable of accepting training in other skills
Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems preferable
- 3-5 years of experience in rolling stock manufacturing/services
- Language Skills: Proficient in English language & Hindi.
- IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
