Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading NetSuite accounting engagements across discovery, design, configuration, testing, and delivery

• Serving as the accounting authority on client engagements

• Diagnosing accounting issues and identifying root causes across workflows, entity structures, and transaction design

• Translating accounting and business requirements into scalable NetSuite configurations

• Working directly with CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance leaders

• Coordinating developers and technical resources when customizations or integrations are needed

• Improving accounting processes through better system design rather than manual workarounds

• Ensuring deliverables are accurate, auditable, and aligned with accounting standards

• Supporting a growing accounting practice with strong client demand

Ideal background:

• Strong accounting foundation, ideally from Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior finance roles

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite configuration experience

• Strong accounting backgrounds( MANDATORY )

• Deep understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, close processes, GL architecture, and transaction flow

• Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany structures, and consolidations

• Hands-on experience with advanced NetSuite areas such as ARM, SuiteBilling, ZoneBilling, SuiteTax, inventory, costing, integrations, or reporting

• CPA, NetSuite certification, or equivalent credentials preferred

• Comfort operating independently in a consulting, project-based, or client-facing environment

• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior finance stakeholders

• Experience using AI or advanced tools to improve analysis, reporting, workflows, or diagnostics is a plus
