Required Skills & Experience
● 20+ years in data leadership roles — Chief Data Officer, VP Data, or equivalent
● Proven experience building data strategy in regulated financial services from low-maturity baselines
● Deep knowledge of modern data architectures — medallion/Bronze-Silver-Gold, data mesh, lakehouse
● Experience with SQL Server estates, Redshift, and event streaming platforms (Confluent, Kafka, RedPanda)
● Strong track record establishing data governance and data quality frameworks from zero

● Experience with data monetisation strategy in transaction-rich environments
● Excellent executive presence — able to influence at C-suite and board level
● Experience leading distributed, cross-geography data teams through platform transitions
