The Team

We are seeking a highly organized Accounting Associate to support our Senior Staff Accountant with the data entry and organization of new cost and profit center requests as part of our new ERP system implementation. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented professional who is experienced managing high-volume requests, tracking workflows, maintaining spreadsheets, and ensuring the timely completion of tasks.

How You Will Contribute

As a member of the GESS Accounting team, you will:

• Manage high-volume functions and requests related to the creation of cost and profit centers within the new ERP system
• Track incoming requests and maintain organized workflows to ensure timely, accurate completion
• Maintain data accuracy within spreadsheets used to log and monitor request status
• Create cost and profit centers within the ERP system per established guidelines
• Partner closely with the Senior Staff Accountant to support broader ERP implementation efforts
• Proactively flag data discrepancies, gaps, or issues for review

• 2-5 Years of prior experience in a data entry, accounting clerk, or similar administrative/finance support role
• Strong proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet management (formulas, sorting, data validation, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
