The Team
Alvarez and Marsals dedicated BTS professionals work with investors and their portfolio companies to provide independent analysis and end to end services across the investment life cycle that deliver results in every economic cycle. Through our BTS practice,Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) offers assistance to private equity owned portfolio companies that are under-performing or with a need of re organization and re-positioning. Working directly with company management, A&Ms involvement reassures all stakeholders that the company is taking important steps to address its problems and maximize its value

How You Will Contribute
As a valued member of the A&M BTS team, you willbe working on high-impact projects across the entire private equity life cycle, from pre-acquisition support (Origination, investment banking, commercial, operational and ESG due diligence, carve-out, merger integration), to transformation, performance improvement and operational turnaround/restructuring, through to supporting the exit across regions. The work scope is not limited to but also includes exposure to varied industries like– Industrials,Automotive, Chemicals, Consumer Products, Retail, Hospitality, Leisure, Healthcare etc.

• Assisting inpitches; contributing to business development
• Firm understanding of (PE) business inregard to financial & accounting skills
• Performing primary and secondary research, and summarize into high quality client reports and recommendation
• Interacting effectively with client
• Supporting inproduction of extensive financial modelling and analysis including cash flow models and projection
• Perform financial and strategic analysis of the targets during a diligence or performance improvement process
• Being an active part of the teams supporting private equity firms and their portfolio companies in their pre-acquisition and performance improvement activities
