• Contract Governance & Compliance: Own the contract lifecycle — from drafting and negotiation through execution and renewal. Ensure all contracts are compliant with Amazon policies, Indian transportation regulations, and GST/E-way bill requirements.
• Market Intelligence: Maintain deep awareness of the Indian trucking and freight market — rate trends, diesel price movements, regulatory changes, competitive benchmarks, and emerging disruptors. Translate market insights into procurement strategies.
• Technology & Automation: Champion the adoption of procurement technology, automation, and data-driven decision-making. Partner with Tech teams to build tools for rate benchmarking, carrier scoring, and contract management. Leverage AI/GenAI tools to improve procurement workflows and negotiation outcomes.
• Executive Reporting & Communication: Author strategic procurement narratives, business reviews, and leadership updates. Present recommendations to senior leadership (Director+) and drive consensus on sourcing strategies.
