Accountant

As an Accountant at Kuwait Food Co. AMERICANA L.L.C., you will play a crucial role in our Finance Control team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis. Your expertise will contribute to the overall financial health and strategic decision-making of the company. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct thorough account reconciliations and identify any discrepancies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
• Perform cost analysis and provide cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting.
• Support the Finance Control team in achieving departmental goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for work assignments.
