Job Summary

Amity University Punjab is seeking a dedicated and academically driven Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures in core Computer Science subjects such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, DBMS, AI/ML, etc.
• Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with university standards
• Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities
• Conduct and publish research in reputed journals/conferences
• Supervise student projects, theses, and internships
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
• Contribute to departmental administration and university initiatives
• Engage in continuous professional development activities

Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Mandatory
• M.Tech (CSE) / MCA Required
• B.Tech (CSE) / BCA Required
• Strong academic background with consistent performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience in a reputed university/institution
• Research publications in SCI/Scopus indexed journals
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity
• Industry experience (optional but desirable)
